Layla has taken her first STEPS!!!

Today, April 19th, Layla Ann Garcia took her first independent steps. She was standing in Mrs. Nita's (Honey's) play area. Slowly let go of the wall facing McKenna. She took one step, then another, and then put her hand on McKenna's shoulder. It was awesome, according to Honey. Since Layla has been home, she has practiced,over and over. She has tried, one step, two steps, and three steps. She just smiles and claps each time, unless she falls and bumps her head. Which happens of course. But, Mommy and Daddy to the rescue. Then she tried again. What a wonderful treat. At nine months old, out little girl has started to WALK!!!!
