Layla is 16 weeks old!

Week 16 was wonderful. Life is full of fun and excitement. Layla as you can see if growing so much and so fast. This week she has begun to master the bottle holding even a little more. In no time will she be blossoming and making so many changes that I can't keep up. The cool weather has come a little early this year. So, we have enjoyed getting into our long sleeve clothes and cuddling together as a family on the sofa at night. You will see some pictures daddy took that show how happy we are. Layla had a play date with Mase this week. It was great and a fun time for mommy to talk to a friend about baby stuff. On Tuesday Layla and Mommy tried to take a stroll down the street. We had to take Bill first and then Jenny. We hope soon we can learn to walk the family pets in one trip. But it might just not be accomplishable without Daddy. On Thursday, Grandma Nixon babysat Layla as Mommy and Daddy celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary. The rest of the week revolved around the words RELAXATION. Mommy got to sleep in past four o'clock in the morning, because Daddy took morning feeding duty. But soon after that we all got some shut eye. Then Layla and Mommy cleaned, cleaned, and cleaned. Then on Sunday, we all felt a little under the weather, so we got to stay home and cuddle as a family with the dogs on the sofa too. That sums up our week. Next week is Daddy's birthday and Layla has to decide what she is going to be getting him.
